
The purpose of this Sustainability Policy is to provide an orientation for carrying out sustainability activities in the Group. This Sustainability Policy describes how Hufvudstaden integrates sustainability into all operations in the company.
Hufvudstaden will conduct its business responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws, ordinances and international standards. Our sustainability activities are based on the UN Global Compact and its principles on human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption, as well as the UN Sustainable Development Goals. We support human rights in accordance with international standards including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and the eight ILO Fundamental Conventions.
Scope
This Sustainability Policy encompasses all parts of Hufvudstaden’s operations, including all employees of the Hufvudstaden Group and its suppliers, partners and customers.

Hufvudstaden will promote social sustainability by:
- Respecting human rights and ensuring compliance with international standards.
- Promoting an environment distinguished by diversity, equality and inclusion, free from discrimination, with safe working conditions in the operations and the value chain.

We will ensure responsible business operations by:
- Safeguarding businesslike conduct and a high level of transparency.
- Complying with applicable laws, standards and guidelines.
- Complying with taxation laws and regulations, ensuring that taxes are paid correctly and abstaining from aggressive tax planning.

Monitoring and compliance
Monitoring and evaluation will be carried out on a continuous basis to ensure compliance with this Sustainability Policy by all employees and other representatives. Hufvudstaden’s sustainability activities are regularly evaluated on the basis of the risk assessment procedure and due diligence. This policy is in effect until further notice and will be reviewed as needed.
