Sustainability targets and outcomes

We take a long-term and goal-oriented approach to reducing our environmental impact and contributing to a more sustainable society. Here, we present our sustainability goals – and how we are progressing toward them.

To advance our sustainability work, we have established targets within our key focus areas – Minimise, Future-proof, and Collaborate. These targets help us measure progress and guide our efforts in the right direction. We also align our work with national and international goals, such as Fossil Free Sweden and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

We have committed to setting near-term emissions targets in line with climate science through the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

Energy use per square metre has been reduced by 17 per cent.

All properties will have green building certification.

84 per cent of properties are certified.

Targets 2030¹

Outcome 2024²

Climate emissions from project development will be halved.

A strategy to achieve the objective has been developed and integrated into the operations. Initiatives such as building standards and re-use are key elements.

¹ The targets were developed in 2020 and thus use 2019 as the base year. Outcome calculated in relation to the base year.
² For 2024, emissions from cunstruction operations per square metre are not reported due to lack of quality-assured data. A methodology for calculating more reliable data will be implemented in 2025.
