Together with our tenants, Hufvudstaden wants to contribute to a more sustainable society. That’s why we offer green lease agreements. This means that, as a tenant, you collaborate with Hufvudstaden to reduce the environmental footprint of your premises.

Signing a green lease is easy – it’s an addendum to the standard lease agreement. With a green lease agreement, we create a foundation for ongoing dialogue about environmental matters. We develop a joint strategy covering areas such as energy reduction and improved waste management. Together, we make a difference.
Everyone benefits from a green lease
When you sign a green lease agreement, you get an overview of responsibilities – what falls under you as a tenant, what is Hufvudstaden’s responsibility, and what is shared. We agree on an active sustainability plan that benefits both parties. Examples of focus areas we address together:
- Smarter energy use
- Improved indoor environment
- Environmental standards for materials
- Waste sorting and recycling
- Green electricity
- Information on the premises’ energy and water usage
