Hufvudstaden has previously initiated several major development projects focusing on the NK of the future. This will demand even greater focus in the years to come. In response, Hufvudstaden has decided to establish a new position – Head of NK Business Development.

Mattias Nygårds, at present head of the NK Business Area, will be appointed Head of NK Business Development. Recruitment of his successor will commence immediately. In the interim, Bo Wikare, Vice President of Hufvudstaden, will be acting Head of the NK Business Area.

“There is an increasing focus on matters relating to development and the future, both at Hufvudstaden and NK. To bring greater momentum to this process, we are streamlining management and development at NK. Reinforcement initiatives of this nature will allow our investment in development projects to proceed with greater intensity, whilst at the same time our long-term perspective and the quality of our management systems can be retained and developed even further,” says Ivo Stopner, President of Hufvudstaden.

Recruitment of a new head of the NK Business Area, who will also be a member of the Executive Management, will commence immediately.

This change will come into effect on November 1, 2017.
