In spring 2016, Chanel will open its first store in the Nordic region in one of Hufvudstaden's properties in central Stockholm. The store will have 170 square metres of floor space and the address is Birger Jarlsgatan 7 in Bibliotekstan.

The establishment of a Chanel store is entirely in line with the Hufvudstaden strategy of developing the area around Biblioteksgatan. With a centrally located Chanel flagship store, Bibliotekstan will further reinforce its position as one of the foremost shopping destinations in Scandinavia.
