The project, which proceeded throughout 2009 and was completed in spring 2010, represents approximately 5,000 square metres of office space and around 1,500 square metres of retailing space. Designed in 1888 by architects Bäckström and Reinius, the building is one of the first office buildings in Stockholm. Following redevelopment, the property offers ultramodern office premises, with open, flexible floor plans, whilst still preserving the original features of the building.

The new tenants will move in after the summer with Wahlstedt Sageryd Financial Services AB and the management consulting company Quartz+Co leasing the largest sections of office space. Marc by Marc Jacobs, which has already signed a lease, will open a store comprising approximately 200 square metres during the autumn.

“Hufvudstaden aims to offer successful retailing and office tenants attractive premises in central Stockholm and Gothenburg. We are therefore very pleased that a number of highly reputable companies have chosen to establish operations in our recently completed, ultramodern property," states Ivo Stopner, President of Hufvudstaden.

Just over one-third of the office space has now been let and the property is currently undergoing environmental certification in compliance with the GreenBuilding Programme.
